Well that's all well and good cory, there are better ways to get your music at higher sound quality without paying a penny either. All you need is WINRar and the ability to type "blogspot" in a search engine. :usehead:

EDIT: 666 posts!! :D

Anteater...We have to perform an exorcism... HAHA...

And yeah i know. Sometimes I just Google a song I want. Also, if my friend has a CD by the artist I just rip it to my computer.

It's heaven I tell you. I've gotten about 60% of my music through our public libraries, once I thoroughly pick clean one collection I just move on to another library. :D

It's awfully suspicious though, walking out with like 10 CD's in my hands once a week.

Oh my god yeah Dreadnaught. I walk in to the library and come out with what looks like thousands of CD's. I always thought that they would only have old music that I would'nt really listen too. But once I got the balls enoughe to walk over there and look at the CD's I was pretty happy. I got the new Chiodos CD the new Shinedown CD a bunch of Bob Marley CD's and the new Stephen Marley Album. I'm like a little boy at christmas everytime I go now.

EDIT: 10 CD's ain't nothin. Me and my mom walked in there once and came out with seriously 33 CD's.

I'm OK.
I've never used Limewire on this computer.

coryallen2 05-26-2009 08:57 AM

Urban, have you checked out Frostwire yet? It's a bit better than Limewire. I think it downloads alot faster and the files are better quality. I don't mess with bearshare anymroe though. It takes my computer like 10 minutes to download 5 songs... Its pathetic. Or I might just be spoiled with a fast computer. Who knows.

P2P's are rubbish.

A 3 month Rapidshare account does me fine.

I usually borrow CDs from the library and rip them into iTunes. It's easy as ****, I have no idea why they don't have any protection on them. Other than that's it's mostly Pirate Bay and (rarely) Mininova.

coryallen2 05-26-2009 09:07 AM

Yeah Urban I agree that they are rubbish, but at the moment I have no money because I lost my job. So I have to use peer to peer sharing. kinda sucks.
