God knows how I survived without some of those. The Cure are amazing!
This year I discovered Les Savy Fav and Micah P Hinson, and they are both beautiful in different ways. I love singer songwriters like Micah but we dont see much of that over here.
Also discovered Nick Drake 'Pink Moon' and Jefferson Airplane 'Surrealistic Pillow'. Always knew White Rabbit and Somebody to Love, but had no idea how good this lot were, and its always nice to think 'where have you been all my life'. Nick Drake was always one of these names I knew but didnt really see the big deal. Man, I see it now.
That person gave you some good bands to listen to. I am also surprised you survived without them.
