When I heard R.E.M.'s The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonight for the first time, I thought the chorus went:

Comanche Indians, Comanche Indians!

as opposed to:

Call me when you try to wake her up, call me when you try to wake her

Also, while I have this chance I shall declare this the best ZZ Top song of all time, from 1994's 'Antenna':

When I was a kid I thought the chorus to 'Tiny Dancer' went, "Hold me closer Tony Danza"

Beastie Boys- "Intergalactic"

I could have sworn he was saying "Like a pencil in the neck from Mr. Spock" instead of "Like a pinch in the neck from Mr. Spock." I was mocked by a Trekkie of all people for that one.

The Bee Gees - How Deep is Your Love

For the lyric "and you came to me on a summer breeze" I used to hear "and you came to me on a submarine" and I'd sang it out with all this passion.
