Release That Song You Have Stuck In Your Head

This is a thread dedicated to the purpose of releasing catchy songs (some of which you may not even like) which are stuck in your head & you simply cannot get them out.

I have proposed a solution that if you either post the lyrics/video or talk about it then it should act as a cure for this predicament.

Anyway heres mine, Ive had it stuck in my head for about 3 days now :shycouch:.
I find this song extremely annoying and didnt like it in the first place so dont know why its stuck in my head lol

Ill cure it by posting a good song by R.E.M who are actually a pretty cool band:
I think 'New Adventures In Hi-Fi' was one of their best albums they ever did along with 'Around The Sun', 'Monster', 'Murmur' & 'Life's Rich Pageant'.

Keane suck balls man.
The first album was a classic (at the time) but since I heard 'Under The Iron Sea' (& sold it promptly) ;to me they lost it from that point.

Stone Birds 05-19-2009 07:12 AM

This is the only song i like from them. its because i heard it on scrubs, its hard not to love the music from that show.

Stone Birds 05-19-2009 07:16 AM

the vocals sounded a lot better on the demo though

Yeah we get it over here, although Im not really a fan of it.
Is it like a comedy set in a hospital or something and some guy keeps falling over or something like that lol.

Thats alright, reminds me of some other band/artist (cant remember who though)..

Stone Birds 05-19-2009 08:30 AM

the lead guitarist is my old math teacher (I'm not even joking)

quakehater 05-19-2009 09:14 AM

As much as I'd hate to admit, Nickelback's "Something In Your Mouth" has been torturing me for about a day now.

No shame in admitting it...that stuff is manufactured to be catchy and get stuck in your head. Now if you're admitting you like it...that's another story.

And the worst part is, I don't really feel guilty about it.

Alright bud, your video didnt quite work, it looks as though you have copied the url whereas if you want the video to be playable on the page (like you had tried) you need whats called an 'embedding code' which can be found on the right hand side underneath the url box.
Just try to find whatever video it is on youtube again but this time choose the embedding code (if its available). I tried to follow the url to do it for you but its 'not available in my country'.

NSW 05-24-2009 02:16 PM

I've had this stuck in my head since Friday...:(

6underground 05-24-2009 02:34 PM

^^ Why did I press play? I can already see myself singing this around the house. (And attempting the dance) Thanks!

Maybe it will replace this, which has been in my head for months

I just heard this song from the tv in my sisters room (must have been an advert or something) & now have it stuck in my head. Had no choice but to search for it on Windows Media Player and listen to it once again. This is one track that I truly love. Heather Small's voice is awesome on this track.
I concede the video is g*y but the song is ace (ignore the intro-the version I have is on the Hacienda Classics album which skips the intro).

gunnels 06-04-2009 03:32 PM

This thread is mentally infectious.

Yeah, it's the only place I would admit to liking 'Ride On Time'.

Actually looking over my own post, I actually gasped when I read the highlighted line. Must have been a bit caught up in the moment at time of writing.(which was like 5 mins ago lol) In addition, to whoever once wrote on this site 'What kind of idiot quotes his own post?'- you now have your answer.

BookMama 06-05-2009 05:10 AM

I think bad songs stuck in your head are like bad thoughts. The only way to get rid of them is, as you suggested, replace them with good songs or good thoughts.

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

Mirrorball95 06-05-2009 05:06 PM

Well it was man, I can remember me and my mates used to really like it & I used to listen to the album all the time when i used to go fishing. Its more of a nostalgic thing I suppose. Its the same as Snow Patrol's 'Final Straw' Oasis' 'Dont Believe The Truth'.

EDIT: You did a bit of backtracking did you not, suppose you have some catching up to do after your wee 'holiday' eh?

TumorAttitude 06-05-2009 05:08 PM

NSW 06-05-2009 06:24 PM

Haha. See this post just caused me to go to YouTube and start watching old Twisted Sister videos. I thought those videos were so awesome when I was in second grade.

Yeah I forgot about that song lol, why was he laughing at one point?
Anyway as for Trey Anastasio's album I couldnt find a link for it sorry, look out for a track called 'Last Tube' which is similar to a lot of the music on Miles Davis' 'Decoy'.
I recentley discovered a site where you can listen to any song in full for free & I found that song on it:
Grooveshark -- Listen to Free Music Online -- Internet Radio -- Free MP3 Streaming

Also if your interested heres the 'Decoy' album I mentioned: Grooveshark -- Listen to Free Music Online -- Internet Radio -- Free MP3 Streaming.
You can listen to the album in full there. Watch out for a song called 'Robot 415'- as to me it sounds like that old tv programme 'The Clangers'.

Thanks, I respect the fact that you respect me even though it is a good song. :D

Griffith Genkins 06-07-2009 02:43 PM

I've had the intro of Not the Sun by Brand New in my head ever since it came out, I hum it basically everyday at some point, ridiculously catchy.

khfreek 06-07-2009 02:49 PM

Instant Messenger by Muse. Since everyone in the Worst Song Thread on the Muse forums said this was their worst song, I checked it out. I, of course, have a very weird relationship with Muse where I love every song they do (except for the abomination that is Forced In), so this song has been stuck in my head all day.
