I think bad songs stuck in your head are like bad thoughts. The only way to get rid of them is, as you suggested, replace them with good songs or good thoughts.

Well it was man, I can remember me and my mates used to really like it & I used to listen to the album all the time when i used to go fishing. Its more of a nostalgic thing I suppose. Its the same as Snow Patrol's 'Final Straw' Oasis' 'Dont Believe The Truth'.
