Would you like to be born in a different time?
alright so if you could be born in a different time (i.e. different decade or even century) for the music scene, the fashion scene or anything else that interested you about a certain time in history. i personally would i have liked to be apart of the NWOBHM era and seen metallica in their prime.

But a better question is what 60s movement I most wish I was a part of.
Because that one's a toughie. You had London, San Francisco, LA, Canterbury, Detroit. But you can scratch Detroit out. NOBODY wants to live in Detroit in the 60s. |

I'm quite content with the music that's coming out in my generation, however I would like to go back to places like Norway and Sweden back in the '80's when the extreme metals were getting started.
However if I could choose to go back and live in any time period, I think I'd like to go back to the American West or England during the Victorian era, monocles and top hats FTW |

The 70's. Prog, dirty ass Funk, Krautrock, classic Rock, Punk- what more could you ask for? I was 8 in 1980 and have vague recollections of the 2 tone scene and still love that scene today.

I would die to have been able to go to woodstock. Everybody tells me that I should have been born in the 60's, and I wholeheartedly agree with them. I don't know where I would have wanted to be, though. I probably would have bought a camper and lived on the road. Or got me and Easy Rider motorcycle and traveled the country will Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda.
It also would have been fun to be an indian. |
