Well it really depends on the type of music and what's the general tone of the album. For Tristania specifically, Widow's Weeds had a simple, dark and slightly medieval opulence without feeling so pointless and feminine like the previous covers I posted.



However for metal in general some of the best album covers are Pantera's Far Beyond Driven and Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast. \m/
