When it comes to music that people aren't willing to pay for, there's a much higher chance that it's amateurish/without good craftsmanship AND it's also more likely to not be that interesting music-theoretically (so that it's boring on top of being poorly executed), because anyone who learns enough and works enough at their craft that their music is going to be interesting music-theoretically is also more likely to be able to play fairly well. Yes. That's been my entire point. I do consider it art because it takes an artistic mind to see the end result before the end result is made. It's in the same vein as I would consider writing in the same art style as painting or sculpting, which again, was my initial point in all of this.
