I've broken it enough times for a permaban by now. Never really used forums much, so...

Everyone does it. I can get pretty bad about it.

Once or twice is fine. But if you're posting 5 or 6 posts one after the other, it gets a bit ridiculous and unnecessary.

Especially when the edit button exists.

I'm just trying to be considerate to the other members here. I wouldn't want to read the same persons posts 5 or 6 times in a row if they can avoid it.

Considerate would be not making ridiculous complaints like that/having ridiculous hang-ups like that in my opinion. Really, caring about whether someone makes one or fifty posts in a row? The person who cares is the person with a problem, and the person who is not being considerate when they start bitching about it.

You're missing the point. There's forum etiquette that stretches across all forums. Not just this one. Posting one after the other after the other is not considerate unless it's your journal or the spam thread. But when it's a music thread, and you can avoid posting multiple times, it's considerate to follow that rule.

Also keep in mind that it's far easier to get your point across when you have all the information in one post, instead of stretching a point across 6 posts.
