'Dad rock' though? Thats one of the most stereotypical things to say.
& no I did mean 'never fail to disagree', although that could change in time .

If things become stereotypical it's usually because there's an element of truth in them. But if listening to rock music written by & made for Ford Mondeo drivers that appear on albums like this

is your thing then you enjoy it. I won't stop you.

Ford Mondeo drivers? What you on about? I enjoy several different types of music actually. In intriguied as to how you know about/own that album. I checked the tracklisting and couldnt see any Paul Weller at all. There was quite a lot of very good songs on it anyway, including Bob Dylan's 'Tangled Up In Blue'.

Just because certain music is from 20-30 years ago doesnt make it valid when you discredit it on the terms of 'dad-rock'.

I love a lot of dad rock.

Uriah Heep were a lot better than what you darn kids pass off as music these days.

Get the f*ck off of my lawn.

Speaking of Dad rock...

^ Decent enough album, but what the bloody hell is that for a cover? It's sleeve art like that that makes me glad to be a filthy musical pirate.

I will never buy a Butthole Surfers CD no matter how good the music on them is.
