There are a few bands out there that name themselves after songs. Let this thread be devoted to the decisions between the song or the band. The band is up to you to find, I'll post the song.

You've made this confusing, are you asking do we prefer the bands that the song spawned, or the songs that spawned the band name?

yeah Big3 i've read this all the way through about six times and i still don't know what the fuck you're asking.

I think he's asking which you like better, the song or the band that's named after it.

I think he'll restart the poll once an individual song has run its course to have a new song posted. I like this song better than Death Cab for Cutie...

Bands. They have names. Sometimes, they get those names from songs. Which are these musical didies with words occasionally.

This thread will determine what was better, the band, or the song they named themselves after. You get to use your opinions on this one. Listen to the song, and use what you know of the band to determine what you'd find more pleasing to lsiten to repeatedly.

Because a bands catalouge can be extensive, and occsionally the song is harder to find, so I, being the upright, charming chap that I am, will post the song so you don't have to look for it.

I voted for the band. I don't like all of their material, but do enjoy their early stuff. And while the song in the video is old school and probably influential blah blah blah, I don't care for it.

Well, the video isn't working but I'm gonna say the band. Probably my first indie band.

I have ALWAYS failed to see what is great about DCFC They simply sound like the most bland generic indie-rock/pop band, and Yes, I've heard all their albums.

What's eerie about this topic is how did The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band know when they wrote that song, Death Cab for Cutie, there was going to be a band in the future that had that name.

OK how about Talk Talk by The Music Machine versus Talk Talk by Talk Talk,
the only problem is if you like Talk Talk by Talk Talk better then Talk Talk by The Music Machine and the other Talk Talk material, should you vote for the song or the band?

Bingo, bucko. AIC do have some good songs, but godsmack is a ****tier band than AIC is a good one, for me at least.

If you ever see Godsmack live, you may change your opinion. They put on a great show.
