well everyone else is doing it so iam jumping on the band wagon, now iam not much of a typer so i might not review the albums maybe just expose yall to it. On youtube of maybe a fav album or fav song
and ill try and switch it up genre wise & popularity wise or lesser known stuff 2 me so maybe i can look cool LOL so yeah lets get 2 it #25 Yuka Funakoshi - Morning Bird #24 3 "All That Remains"- seen this band once on HBB and thought it was a breath of fresh air of the hole show filled withy metalcore bands LOL #23 The Wonder Stuff - The Size Of A Cow like a FNM mixed with a childerns music clone love it #22 USSA - Autumn Flowers #21 Smiling Faces Tell Lies - The Undisputed Truth-This is some Motown Funky stuff right here #20 The Lonely island - I'm On a Boat ft. T-Pain- iam sure everyone has heard of them this is my new fav song LOL !!!!!! |

USSA.... nice. I found out about them as an offshoot of Tomahawk. I have to assume it's how Duane Denison kept himself busy while the rest of that band is working within their own respective side projects (Battles / Fantomas / etc.). There's also a dude from Ministry in the group which makes for a nice mix of organic industrial sounds.
Though it's hard to hear them without drawing comparisons to the first Tomahawk discs; especially with a tricky syncopated beat like they feature in that tune with a prominent bass line over top (reminds me of Rape This Day). |

I'm pretty sure they're another one album wonder. You're correct about Tomahawk's guitar player being the link, I figure USSA just came about as a side project while Patton was busy with Fantomas and their drummer with Battles.
