Sarah Brightman

At 50, she's more than old enough to be my mother, and I'm sure she's had some work done (despite her claims to the contrary), but I think she's lovely. She has the singing voice I would just about do anything to have, a charming accent, and always seems very sweet and soft-spoken in interviews. I adore her. Plus, I'm a sucker for the dark hair and lighter eyes combo.

Zooey Deschanel

I find her adorable.

Well, I always found it hard to like celebrities.
They usually just don't appeal to me for some reason.
And it's not like I'm all that picky. I have quite some female friends and I would kick none of them out of my bed . I must add that they are indeed all beautiful. Didn't choose them for being beautiful. Don't know how I do that. Don't care. I like.

Eitherway, I read everything from page 30 up and the only girl I found that appealed to me the slightest bit was this Hayley Williams. I have no idea what her music sounds like, but I don't think that was the point.
She's quite cute, but still not all that interesting.

I kinda liked Gwen Stefani in her first years.
It now appears to be virtually impossible to find a nice picture of that period.

And then there's Dutch Country Singer (well, at least that's what she started out with) Ilse DeLange.

Still, not all that interesting.
As I said, I usually like the girls you run into in everyday life better

^ OK, following your example, I'm gonna internationalize the thread a little more. As I said before, Françoise Hardy is number 1 to me. Number 2 is the vocalist of a pop-rock band named El Sueño de Morfeo (it means "Morpheus' Dream"), Raquel del Rosario (which, BTW, is married to F1 driver Fernando Alonso):

Do you mean "beautiful" as in "I find this woman physically attractive," or "beautiful" as in "I think she has a beautiful voice"? I find all kinds of women's voices beautiful, from the rough edged, bluesy, smoky, soulful and sultry to the ethereal, otherworldly, high and girlish.

Some women in music who I think are attractive...

Beth Ditto

Liz Fraser

Kristin Hersh

Sleater-Kinney (sadly now defunct)

Jolie Holland

The Be Good Tanyas

...Seriously, how cute are they?

Oh, and how can I forget... Letitia Sadier from Stereolab? Gorgeous French woman.

Yes, and Janis Joplin...

...but it's not about that. Title says "musician". So, considering they're not necessarily vocalists, it doesn't refer to their voices.

True, you make a good point. I could have included some outstanding guitarists, drummers, horn players, fiddlers, too. Janet Weiss from Sleater-Kinney didn't do a whole lot of singing with that band, but she's definitely a hot drummer.
