I will not bother with the rest of your post but a "closet" fan? What kinda statement is that on a music site. I no more have to justify who I like to you as you do to me. FWIW I find Pearl Jam and Lilly Allen equally as boring and grinding... But that shouldn't stop anyone else from enjoying their music.

I didnt say anything about my band versus your band (this is the name of the thread + Lilly Allen is hardly a 'band'), I basically used that particular artist as an example (one who deserves to be slagged off anyway) to make a point and you took offence.
Also I find it intriguing that although 'teeny style arguments' are "utterly meaningless to me personally" you still managed to write 3 paragraphs in response??
