Leonard Cohen's Tour
Anyone else gone or going? Went last night at the Paramount, played with a full band on all but 2 or 3 songs, was pretty mediocre to be honest. Still as great experience though. I was really disappointed at just how awful his renditions of Bird On A Wire and Hallelujah were. He read a beautiful version of A Thousand Kisses Deep, I'll post it later. He played for 3 and a half hours, so I really got my parent's money's worth.
Highlights: The Future Closing Time Chelsea Hotel #2 The Gypsy's Wife The Partisan (Best of the night, besides the poem he read) Suzanne So Long, Marianne Famous Blue Rain Coat A Thousand Kisses Deep (In poem form, with tweeked lyrics that I'll post) Boogie Street Dance Me To The End Of Love |

I'm glad to hear you enjoyed yourself though, he was great when I saw him too. |
