I'm fascinated by this list, especially by the fact that "Whiter Shade of Pale" is number one on it. Not at all what I would have guessed would be number one. It's interesting to me to see what's really huge in UK because I think it's very different from what would be on that list over here. Robbie Williams is a perfect example. I've heard him before but I literally don't think I've ever heard a single song by the guy, yet he's on this list several time so he's obviously enormous over there.
I have to confess I have a soft spot for that one, probably because I was 14 when it came out and it brings back fond memories. |
