There are a 7 or 8 decent enough songs there. Most of the rest of them are just trash to me - that Bryan Adams song is one of the worst of all time.

I'm fascinated by this list, especially by the fact that "Whiter Shade of Pale" is number one on it. Not at all what I would have guessed would be number one. It's interesting to me to see what's really huge in UK because I think it's very different from what would be on that list over here. Robbie Williams is a perfect example. I've heard him before but I literally don't think I've ever heard a single song by the guy, yet he's on this list several time so he's obviously enormous over there.

I have to confess I have a soft spot for that one, probably because I was 14 when it came out and it brings back fond memories.

I'll admit there's the odd song on that list I quite like that'd be considered mainstream garbage as well though - the kind I'll find on youtube so it doesn't scrobble on lastfm
