I just remember another incredible song, which is now dubbed my favourite sad song and will be my funeral song too: REM - Everybody Hurts

Type O Negative - Everything Dies
Joy Division - Day Of The Lords Sarah McClachlan - Fumbling Towards Ecstasy Dream Academy - Waterloo: I love the saxophone that comes in later. I still can't find this album on CD and have make do with my Cassette.

is this post related to sound, lyrics, or both?
Personally, I tend to privilege the sound, so my fav songs are: - Gravity (Embrace) - My melancholy blues (Queen) - Not for all the love in the world (the thrills) - Where the wild roses grow (minogue/cave) - vicious traditions (the veils) - trouble (coldplay)
