Thats because it IS Layne Staley.

Layne Staley (Alice in Chains) and Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees) on vocals
Mike McCready (one of Pearl Jams members) on guitar
John Baker Saunders on bass (he's been in lots of stuff)
Barrett Martin on drums

Yeah Madseason had a sick lineup, Mark Lanegan is one of my favorite vocalists, Layne Staley is great as well. Not to mention McCready on guitar, he's so versatile. They really had a ton of potential, I think if they would have done another couple albums, they could have made some really awesome music.

Both of these groups could have been amazing had they done more than one album.

Island - Pictures (1977)

Algarnas Tradgard - The Future is a Hovering Ship, Anchored in the Past (1972)

That Island album art is pure sex, I may need to give it a try based solely on that fact.

He's the guy that did the artwork that inspired the xenomorphs in the Alien franchise right?
