Oh no! Mine only goes from Freak out to year 2002. I think Jackhammer has more Zappa then I'm about to. |
If you want some really weird dreams put all your Zappa into a playlist and hit shuffle then go to bed. Good times.........

The sheer brilliance of Mr. Zappa truly comes into play when you consider that he didn't just spew out simple little 3 chord pop tunes. It may have been one thing if this were a punk rock discography, but this all rather complex composition that takes most musicians a little bit of noodling to work out. I knew Zappa's discography was extensive, but wow!

Frank Zappa is amazing, and i don't use that term lightly

"The PMRC proposal is an ill-conceived piece of nonsense which fails to deliver any real benefits to children, infringes the civil liberties of people who are not children, and promises to keep the courts busy for years dealing with the interpretational and enforcemental problems inherent in the proposal's design. It is my understanding that, in law, First Amendment issues are decided with a preference for the least restrictive alternative. In this context, the PMRC's demands are the equivalent of treating dandruff by decapitation ... The establishment of a rating system, voluntary or otherwise, opens the door to an endless parade of moral quality control programs based on things certain Christians do not like. What if the next bunch of Washington wives demands a large yellow "J" on all material written or performed by Jews, in order to save helpless children from exposure to concealed Zionist doctrine?" Go Zappa. |
I found this slightly amusing. Frank Zappa has his own wikipedia page, and so does his discography. :hphones:

So, you guys, I hear Zappa is really silly in his songs. So I assume it's how well this legend plays that everyone loves? |

which version of 'muffin man'? hehehe i find 'the radio is broken' quite hilarious myself hehe
the thing i've noticed with the discographies is there tends to be a lot of overlap. especially with poorly named live sets. then again the one i have if only 8.x gigs from a few years ago. |
i've got everything up to One Size Fits All in 320 or cd :p:
Never liked the live albums though, just not funny. spillit what's your top 3 Lee? |
Some of the bootlegs/live albums I had were the best.
My favourite albums have to be: Sheik Yerbouti, Freak Out! and ' |
I do have a link to 90 odd bootlegs but i think they can wait for a while :D
|
I hope I like this guy, silly stuff is sometimes hard for me to get into.
