Default Battle of the Reviewers - Vote for your Favourite Reviewer here!

Finally!

Making this poll was more work than I thought it would be, but I managed to do it. Of course, everyone in this poll are already winners just for being nominated, but yadda yadda - diplomacy aside, let's see who wins the poll!

Under, I've made a list of nominees with suggested reading for each. I'm pretty sure I sent everyone a PM for links, yet I didn't get a reply from all. When I didn't, I chose something myself. Every nominee is of course free to change his or her suggested reading .. Just let me know!

>> Links like this means they link to threads (journals) with several reviews!

Rules and info :
  • Nominees can't vote for themselves!
  • This is a public poll, people can see what your choice is
  • The poll ends in 14 days, on the 16th of april

Nominees and suggested reading

.. So get pollin'!

edit :

Voting is closed!

Comus and Jackhammer are the winners!

Congratulations guys

I'll need to think about this for a bit. It'll prolly be a while before I vote!

Yup, I'm also gonna sit down and do a bit of reading before I decide on my final vote.

To everyone, remember that you choose your own criteria. Some of the guys in the poll like myself and Anteater have only been writing reviews for a few months while others have been doing it and contributing to the site for years (Urban, Jackhammer, Cardboard, etc). That can be hard to see in the poll and the first post, but you might wanna keep it in mind!

Dear god this is pretty damn difficult. Most people here deserve my vote. I'll have to think on it.

It'll probably be a while before I vote as well. Loads of deserving nominees there.

I'm gravitating towards Cardboard still, but i do like Urban's, Molecule's and Davey Moore's reviews too since they have their own flavour too..

I'm going with Comus .. As I've written before, when I first came to MB, I was hoping to read reviews and discover music. After he posted in my introductionary thread, I checked out his journal and it was exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for. In other words - lots of great reviews of awesome music I didn't know existed.

It's still my favourite review journal so he gets my vote!

My vote goes to Alfred. The kid's got skills when it comes to reviewing albums. Not to mention he always reviews albums that I want to see reviewed. His reviews for He Is Legend's 'I Am Hollywood' and Alexisonfire's self titled album are top-notch. Not to mention the Alfred 25 is the best 'top albums' thread on this forum.

p.s. Alfred, it's time to update the 25... seriously, it's been a while.

Edit: Comus coming in at a very close second.
