Every day you log on here there's new lists and reviews and videos in every thread. I try to give most of it a fair shot, just cause thats the way I am. No way am I complaining though, as I've been turned on to so much amazing stuff already in just the past week.
I have given up trying to. I just don't have enough time.

There is if you have very sensitive ears, and even the slightest sound sends burning pains down your spine all the way to your shaky toes.

I've been feeling the same way, which is why I've been going to meshboxx.com to just listen to what people are coming up with and discussing. By the way, even though I'm new, this isn't advertising, the site is ad-free and not-for-profit, so it's not like I'm doing anything for them.

The thing is that the whole industry is money driven, more so than ever and I feel that it clouds the vision of lots of producers, writers, bands and performers. If you get signed and your music is not commercial enough, big labes want to change it.

All these X Factor type programs don't help either. The public get sucked into the opinions of producers of the same kinds/style and they end up liking what the winner produces. In my humble opinion, not good.

Please someone tell me I'm wrong and why...
I completely agree. To much music...wait...to much crappy music!! It's so hard to find anything good that doesn't sound like every other band that I listen to. People need to be more original. Sure, I'll listen to something similar but not something that sounds EXACTLY like another band.

well, just keep looking, i've found dozens of bands through extensive searching. like if someone suggests you check out a band, you should(guess what?) check them out. i've gone through plenty of crap, but i've also found some great gems along the way. sure there's plenty of sucky unoriginal bands, but there's also tons of good bands that do their own thing.

and if you want people to be a little more original, and if you play an instrument(if you don't, disregard this point) try making your own original music

For sure! I used Last.Fm and they (surprisingly) offered me a few good bands to check out. That's where I found The Frantic Flinstones and they're amazing.

too music music is impossible.
the more there is, the higher chance of some of it being good.

good music is everywhere, you just have to open your ears a little

Seconded.

The only problem is with so much music and so little time you may miss the best stuff and never know :/
