Where I live there are lots of kids into Insane Clown Posse and Korn, two bands which I have NEVER liked. I've listened to Korn at least by the request of some friends because they were so concerned that I didn't like them, but I won't give ICP a try.

Also Lamb of God leaves a sour taste. :-p

There are some good metalcore acts, Botch, DEP, Converge, Parkway Drive, Architects, Suicide Silence, Killswictch(to an extent).

I almost WISH frat guys listened to that shit. I didn't care for OAR and DMB before coming to college, but now I want to kill everyone in those bands.

I agree with dac, (never thought I would say that) I can honestly say I've never met any frat dudes who listen to KoRn or ICP. Although someone does need to inform their other fans that the late 90's are in fact a part of the past.

College kids love their jam bands. Don't forget Death Cab for Cutie and Dashboard Confessional also.

For U2, I liked them up until a few years ago. I just can't stand their music now, I really can't. I also don't see the big deal with The Unforgettable Fire (song). I've seen it on a few lists of top songs and I don't understand why this song is so great. It's probably one of my most hated U2 songs.
