No you are not on your own. I think Arcade Fire is boring as hell. I do have maybe 2 tracks that I like and that's it.

The Shaggs and The first Saccharine Trust album people seem to hate, I can understand why people would hate the Shaggs but the first Saccharine Trust album "Paganicons" gets some pretty harsh criticism when it is my favorite Saccharine Trust album :P, i'll admit some of the lyrics are pretty brutal but it's far more interesting than their free jazz stuff that came later imo. + Human Certainty and Effort To Waste have the best intros ever

I think Arcade Fire are hideously overrated, that being said Funeral is still a pretty good album.
The National however are nothing more than a rancid green sh*tstain on the modern indie scene. |
