Bands you hate that everyone else loves

Led Zepplin, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Motley Crue, Nickelback, etc. A lot of rock and metal bands that just don't do a lot for me. To each their own though

I gotta go against the anti post rock sentiment here.... post rock rules! The very best thing to have on whilst you drink a few beers, suck up the mood and just be swept up in its moodiness...

Post rock gets me through homework on a nightly basis. When I listen to lyric-heavy music, my mind wanders and I get very little done.

I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of Godspeed You! Black Emperor either. Or any post-rock for that matter... I mean there's minimilist and then there's nothingness I think post rock leans more towards the latter. Most of the time I feel like I'm listening to glorified silence, not what I look for in music.

p.s. I know alot of fanboy's are already pissed but with that being said....

I don't like Sigur Ros either... sorry.
