You should get into circuit bending and fix 'er up.
Or, less drastically, use some guitar pedals and tweak the output. When I first got started, I had my dad's Strat, a bunch of stomp boxes, a Casio keyboard from Walmart, and a 4 track cassette recorder. Oh I made it work. That keyboard was gettin' raunchy by the time I was done with it.

still not as infuriating as my friend's setup...he spent all his money on recording equipment, sound system and a drum machine. so he's stuck with a piece of **** Casio, Yamaha acoustic and Mexican fat Strat (it's ugly as sin). all in all he probably put over $2000 into his setup and a fraction of that on instruments and just uses production techniques to accomplish everything he does.
he does have a sweet Fender Jazz bass but he's unwilling to use it most of the time.

But that's a fantastic idea. I'll give it a shot. |

Yeah. I can certainly understand the hate for The Stones.
But as much as I rant about them, I still like them to an extent. I think Sticky Fingers is a fantastic album, Beggars and Let it Bleed too. But I never got the hype over Exile, that's the one everyone calls their magnum opus but I always found it boring and middle of the road boogie rock. I hated the direction they took with Exile and they pretty much lost me with everything since. Save a few greats like Angie and Beast of Burden. |

The Dave Mathews Bands, I can't stand them almost to the point of hating them, but Carter Beauford is an awesome drummer |

Aside from southern hicks, frat boys and 10 year olds. Who actually likes these artists?

KISS. Whats the deal? Their lyrics are universally throwaway garbage, their music is cliched, even for their time and the theatrics are just stupid, and pro, bably orchestrated to distract people from the fact they are listening to horrible sub par cruddy music.
Yet they are enduringly popular and Gene Simmons has laid so many women he's likely forgotten who's bed he is in on any given night... what the hey...
