Mine is similar, but chances are it wont actually be released this year. Detox by Dr Dre.

Arctic Monkeys intrigue me. They've put out two good albums, but something tells me they don't have another one in them. Apparently Josh Homme is producing it, so we'll see how that goes, but from what I've heard around the net, it's pretty "meh."

How do people know if it's meh if it isn't even finished yet?

I'm looking forward Muse's next album, but recent interviews have hinted that the release might be in '10.

Devo is supposed to be releasing a new album soon, I'm REALLY hoping that it's this year.

Possibly. Not like any of his albums have had great titles... Food & Liquor, The Cool... hasn't had an effect on the content.

Probably Blur's reunion album, if it comes out at all.

Don't get me wrong Im a definite fan. He just doesn't put much thought into the title end of his work. The Cool is a great album.

Originally he was going to release this as part of his lupE.N.D. - 3 final CD's before he retires. He postponed that, so he probably just thought of the most generic title he could to replace that and slapped it on there haha.

No, he's like fukin' 27 or 28... I wish I had that luxury.

You know hell be just like Jay Z though, and retire about 5 times before he is truly done. Anyone with that much talent will not just sit there.

I think there's a thread like this already somewhere or other.

Anyway, from what I've heard Nick Cave's going back to the studio with Grinderman after he finishes touring, which will probably be this year. Apparently he wants to rein things in a bit more with them and make a Bad Seeds-esque album this time, which is just fine by me.

I'm saying from the samples of their new stuff that I myself have heard I think it's meh. You can find a few songs on YouTube and more stuff here and there.

I will agree with the Maylene and the He Is Legend. And also Cursive has a new one coming out soon. And then I am actually excited to hear Blink 182s new one.

QOTSA new album should be out by the end of the year if Homme gets his act together and stops prancing around his side projects.

I think it's kind of a clever title myself, and pretty funny. But maybe if you don't catch the reference it just comes off as dumb sounding.

Muse, MF DOOM, Depeche Mode, and The Mars Volta are all supposed to put out new material this year, and Achozen will finally debut.
Sounds fantasmic.

I'm interested to see what Marilyn Manson is going to come out with this summer. He said he was going to release the album near valentines day and now he pushed it back. And like most of his album's he built up so much hype I just have to listen to it! Apparently it's supposed to be there heaviest album yet. Hopefully it'll sound more reminiscent to Antichrist Superstar.
