I agree. I'm a huge fan and cannot wait. Comes out in the middle of May supposedly.

Upon getting "Diablo Swing Orchestra"s EP thanks to Terrible Lizard, I am now super stoked for their new album :)

For sure...I own every album so far. Should kick ass, Eat Me Drink Me was solid given his label and band issues

Eat Me, Drink Me was a good album but not close to his best. No complaints though.

I think it just came off as kind of sedate compared to Golden Age of Grotesque.

I'd love to see him go for something wild again that's along those lines. He doesn't have to repeat the past. I'm not saying that. I'd just like to see something kind of free-wheeling and very much into the concept of dark comedy.

My most anticipated album of this year WAS Trick by Koda Kumi

However..... that's been out for over a month now

So my next most anticipated album is BoA - BoA
It's her first English-language album and the previews sound awesome.... it's being released tomorrow.....

I don't think I could go for a whole album, just listening to the previews, her voice sounds really tinny behind that wall of production.

I was waiting for Propagandhi's Supporting Caste and it delivered everything and more any Propagandhi fan could have asked for.

As for something that I would like to see (doubt it will happen) is for Daft Punk to come out with a new album.

Arctic Monkeys are the best thing to come out of that BritPop scene in a LONG time.

LoathsomePete 03-23-2009 11:33 AM

I prefer The Last Shadow Puppets, less pretentious and more outrageous, over the top Bowie-esque sound.

I'm here and there with the Shadow Puppets. The album didn't do much for me, but songs like 'Standing Next to Me' are great.

They are, I think sometime in the summer, suppose to be a bit harder and psychedelic.
