Question (lyrics, Kiss, American, 90's, song)

Sorry about joining just to ask this one question, but this has been killing me for years. There is this song. I have no idea what it's called or whom it's by, but it was on the second season of American Idol in the groups. It is a 90's song I'm pretty sure. It's very slow and a very high pitched voice sings it. One of the lyrics sounds like - "there used to be a green tower" and something like "my power, my pleasure, my pain!" those could be wrong but they are my best guess. If anyone knows who sings this and what it is called, please tell me! Thank you
