look, you guys could try to convince me that album A is better or worse than album B all you want, but the thing is that's mostly opinion. sure you can say that you're basing it on lyrics, musicianship or whatever, but in the end it's about what you enjoyed listening to better and what really clicked with you. so yeah, i've heard both and in my opinion i liked The Wall better, and a bunch of people telling me i'm wrong isn't going to change it.

well, i really enjoyed the story, it's central theme combined with the metaphoric imagery in some songs, like Mother and The Trial. it also comes down to me just enjoying the music more, from Goodbye Blue Sky to Comfortably Numb, it just really clicked with me and was something i could really connect with myself.
plus watching the film really cemented it for me, it gave me something to connect the story with. i still liked the album as much before watching it, mind you, but the movie really helped me in understanding some of the parts on the album and really get the story as a whole. sure, i understand how people can see the whole thing as overblown and hate it as opposed to their previous work, but for me this was an album that just clicked with me, i can't really explain it further than that

"Nirvana By Kurt Cobain" [MP3] has an akward name, but the song is really good Lyrically, Vocally, and Musically, although this song doesn't give you the musical diversity like a lot of others of his do, but it still has a nice riff |
