I honeslty found it to be pretty genric stuff, but I love the song From Yesterday and I was very suprised by the closing track Hunter which sounded completley different from the rest of the album, and I really loved it. They need to make more music like that. Overall I probably give it about a 5/10
Sorry :(

My partner and I (never thought that phrase would come out of my mouth) are a week or more behind...so I won't participate until I get caught up.

PMO sent me Phantasia by Japanese math-rock band Lite

When I first listened to it, I didn't know what to think. I was overwhelmed by the complex (and most of the time in your face) intrumentation. I left it alone for awhile and went back to it, gave it all of my attention.
Like most albums with me, it was infinitively better the second time around.

Starting this album off with a bang is "Ef", a jerking, guitar-driven ride; this track gives a strong hint that this is one of the more jagged and rough math-rock albums out there.
My second-favorite track, "Infinite Mirror", is a fantastic jam. My favorite part of the album is the build-up halfway through where all of the band is playing eighths, the high-hat slowly releases, and the whole thing explodes.
My favorite track, however, is the closer-"Sequel to the Letter". I'm not sure what it is about this track that I'm so fond of. Maybe because there is such a different mood to this song. Other songs seem to portray loneliness, anger, and melancholy. "Sequel to the Letter" however is sweet, like a teenage love.

Right now, I'll give this album a 7/10, however, since this album seems to get better with each listen, it may soon bump up to an 8.

This is an incredibly chilled out album, under the 'jazz-hop' style which i have never delved into unless Tribe Called Quest count. I've only had the one listen so far but it seemed more like my sort of background music, it's perfectly pleasant but not particularly engaging. It'll definitely be getting some more listens though because it's certainly not bad.
