Stone Birds sent me VOTA - Special Edition Digital Album
![]() I must, first off, admit my biases. I'm not Christian, and this is a Christian band, so the lyrics really aren't anything I can particularly relate to. That's alright though, I can get over it if the music is good. It's just that, after a listen... the music isn't bad, I wouldn't say, but it's not my kind of thing. I can see how people may enjoy it, but for me personally it's just a bit generic sounding and same-ish. No offense though Stone Birds, we just in general don't seem to like much of the same music. Hopefully you enjoy what I gave you. Also, unless there's someone else wanting to get involved in this, I'd be happy to trade with AwwSugar as well. I'll spend a PM now.

Yeah, I thought that was a glitch in Winamp or something.

AwwSugar sent me Placebo - Battle for the Sun
![]() It's hard for me to exactly come up with what I want to say about this. This is my first time listening to Placebo and...I'm not sure. For what it is, I'd say it's good. But what it is is basically a standard rock album, not much new. So this really isn't my normal kind of thing, but it's catchy and I'd say worth a few listens. The drumming is nice and energetic. The lyrics seem a bit weak, but I've never been one to care about lyrics nearly as much as the other elements. Overall, this is decent. It's a bit different for me to listen to music like this, and it's hardly groundbreaking or life changing. However, it wasn't a bad listen and I'll probably come back to it a few times. Danke.

![]() The Abominable Human tried sending me Three's "The End is Begun." I didn't get to actually upload it, but instead I looked for as many songs by the band as I could on YouTube. I have to admit, they aren't as good as I primarily hoped they would be, but some of their songs are ones I would definitely keep listening to. The reason he sent me the album is because he knew I liked Coheed and Cambria, which I do say, they sound a but similar to. Had Claudio been in a different band when he was younger, it might have sounded like this. Over some of the songs are ones I would be interested in downloading on my own. [= |
