BRAD STENGEL IS BACK!!!!

Anyway, Urban sent me Gorky's Zygotic Mynci(ha didn't even to look at iTunes to spell it correctly ), I think it was like 20 singles or something, and I really loved it. I don't know how to classify it but it was weird, upbeat, catchy, and amazing all wrapped up in one. The track The Game of Eyes really stuck out to me, because it was so quirky. I would compare them to That Handsome Devil.

Thanks man

So, Pobody's Nerfect sent me Esqueletos by Tarantella, and I've gotta say it's another album I've got from this thread which I've loved (btw, PM sent regarding next week Rezz). As far as I know they've been knocking around for the last five-odd years, and the Argentine group's take on the Denver avante-country scene really is something else, and one of many examples of why you should never write something off just because of its country tag. There's a slower, more brooding and darkly contemplative air about the whole album, with the added textures of the fiddle with the dreamy vocals of Cal Cahoone to give it that extra spice.

Anyway, thanks a lot for this man - really enjoying this one.

Rage against the machine sent me Here Comes Everyone by Aloha. It was pretty good indie rock, I really liked it.

I got '69 Love Songs (vol. 1)' by The Magnetic Fields from RoemerM. It was pretty interesting, especially on songs like "I Don't Believe In the Sun", where the vocals seem to have some serious Waits influence going on. My only complaint is due to the sheer volume of songs, it seems like there's a lot of space for filler and pointless tracks (Punk Love, How Fucking Romantic, etc.). All in all it was pretty enjoyable, but I'm not sure if it's really an album still having merit to me in 3-5 years. 7/10 (I was tempted to put 6.9/10, I'm so clever lololol)

The rules clearly state it may not be good.
