I've been feeling such a guilt for so long now, so here's the review:
From Bob. SPK - Leichenschrei (1982) From the Australian band SPK (or Sozialistisches Patienten Kollektiv) comes this absolutely sublime Industrial album. Bob. sent it to me as part of the Halloween trade, and it definitely suits the theme. The second I listened to the album and I got transported to some kind of rusty, mouldy, abandoned prison, waiting to be executed. The balance between synthesised sounds and musique concrĂȘte is just perfect, the spoken words that emerge are as creepy as expected, and I don't think I've ever heard such perversive lyrics. Just exquisite. And as of lately, this album is officially the most powerful remedy against writer's block. Could be the nightmarish atmosphere that I've been looking for all along, that I have found in this album, or that I'm just a big fan of Industrial decors, all I know: it works wonders. A big thanks to you Bob. Sorry it took me so long to review the album. **PS: My next scenario shall be dedicated to you. -Cheers

I have to admit thats exactly why I stopped doing this, because I did that once or twice.
I'm not going to this time though. If a few more people are down for it, then we'll get one started. |
