You can instantly tell from that album artwork that this is an ambient album. Full of mist and minimal objects. Ambient is a genre I have a quite a bit of but as gotjuice is no fan of Black Metal or Blues, I as happy to acquire this.

The highlight is Taken which is an absolutely fantastic song. The rest is of course good too and was pretty solid for when I was studying as I had the biggest exam of my life the next day so Ambient was really my only choice.

But however it doesn't live up to my favourite Ambient albums. Chill Out and Sowiesoso are just miles better same with Selected Ambient Works.

Overall Talk Amongst The Trees is a good ambient album and I will revisit it at some point.

What do you mean by kind of slow? I'm sure you will have at least a week but probably more like two weeks to exchange albums and write a review. If thats what you mean then im sure that will be fine!
