Just stopping by to say I'm gonna see if I can get the next trade started on Tuesday. Remember, there's a theme this time as well! Looser than the other themes we've had, but if you wanna join in you have to ask your swap partner for an album by an artist or of a genre you don't know much about at all. That doesn't mean send your partner an album he/she'll hate either! If you can't manage to adhere to that theme, just send along any old album as per norm.

PISCES OF ISCARIOT - The Smashing Pumpkins
From Wiki: Pisces Iscariot is a compilation album of B-sides, demos, and outtakes released in 1994 by The Smashing Pumpkins

Though I prefer Various Artists comps to discover new artists, I have to say, realising that it's a single band comp, I was a bit disappointed. Plus the Smashing Pumpkins weren't one of those new bands that you discover in some rare compilation, which lessened my enthusiasm ... but I have to say, I needed this kind of push, to get myself to listen to The Smashing Pumpkins after months of owning their whole discography.

Maybe it's not the perfect place to start with SP, but these tracks turned out to my liking. Seems like I had a very wrong idea of them, I'm glad this comp set me straight. I don't have much to say about these B-sides and unreleased tracks, as I haven't listened to much of their officially released Studio albums to write some decent comparison. All I know for now, I'll be giving their albums some repeated spins very soon.

You don't need to PM, you just say you want in (exactly like you did just now), and Bulldog is the one in charge.
