A present from FaSho-
http://media.virginmega.fr/Covers/Zo...3680479056.jpg Blind Lemon Jefferson - The Best Of Blind Lemon Jefferson A pretty large compilation of one of the best and most fundamentally influential blues artists of all time (23 tracks to be specific) and nary a weak spot throughout the whole thing. The guy died nearly 90 years ago, but the soulfulness of his voice and the twang of his guitar still rings through despite the extremely grainy recording quality, which actually contributes to the experience somewhat. All in all, an interesting walk into the early development of 20th century blues and the roots of what would later become rock n' roll, and I found it quite engaging. Thanks FaSho! 8/10 |
^I did a report on that guy in 5th grade. I don't remember anything though...

Damn, forgot all about this thread! Sorry folks, but this week's been a busier one than usual, so you'll have to bear with me for a few days. I'll get my review done when I can too.
Anyone who wants in on the next (unthemed) trade, let me know and I'll start taking names down. Should get things moving again by the weekend. Again, sorry for the delay! |
i'm in. Expect my review up within the day.

I hated it. It's just too goddamn annoying. I bet these guys sound great live though, after many a beverage that is. |

It seems that both Abdullah and I sent Kusturica albums, :thumb: Edit: I'm down for the next trade. |
