I've seriously never come across a Nirvana song (or cover) that I didn't like. With the possible exceptions of the original "Fecal Matter" Spank Thru demo and Moist Vagina.

Anybody else with me? .. anybody?

Disclamer:

I have musical taste beyond Nirvana, just so you know. I listen to alot more than just them or that style... I just don't want anyone to think I'm musically narrow-minded or anything.
well i'm with you there but i would say there is no nirvana song, demo, or recorded in a basement song that i don't like of theirs. i have yet to hear a song that wasn't good and i'm pretty sure i have to have damn near ever song that is available.

Here's a few I can't quite get enough of at the minute;

Gram Parsons - Return Of the Grievous Angel
The Byrds - Life In Prison
Can - Halleluwah
Captain Beefheart - Electricity
Elvis Costello & Allen Toussaint - Six-Fingered Man
The Pogues - Blue Heaven
David Bowie - Like a Rolling Stone
Morcheeba - Shoulder Holster
Cindy Scott - I Love You Baby
Faith No More - Everything's Ruined

I was actually gonna put both of those on there, Electricity is feckin sweet. I love Beefheart's growl on it. Halleluwah is great too, probably my second favorite track off Tago Mago.

I could spend ten years locked in a cell with only those two songs on CD for company - I just never get bored of them. It's all about the tribal rhythms in Halleluwah and that psychotic kind of blues sound Beefheart captures with Electricity. Love 'em to bits.
