Rock N' Roll Suicide-Bowie
When Bowie sings that last 'Oh give my our hands!' it sends shivers up my spine.

Hallelujah-Cohen's version:
The last line, 'And even though it all went wrong I'll stand before the Lord Of Song with nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah', really makes the song for me.

Retrovetigo-Mr. Bungle
Starts out slow, builds a little, goes back down, builds a little more, goes back down...Then explodes...Every famine virtual, Retrovertigo.

Eulogy-Patrick Wolf
Starts out as a peaceful last goodbye to a friend, depicting his journey to whatever lies beyond life, then suddenly turns into wailing lament as they go 'over the edge, the edge of the world'.

The Doors - The End
This songs builds up to a few crescendoes and continues to build upon that. It's brilliant and it closes with a sentimental note.
