Mother Superior-Coheed and Cambria.
The bridge throught the 3rd chorus is the climax of the whole album. Sorry about the terrible video, this was the best audio quality I could find.

I think the extended version of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida hits a good climax.

I always thought the Pumpkins' Porcelina of the Vast Oceans hits a perfect climax, especially when he screams the chorus and then repeats "In my mind I'm everyone" before leading into a short guitar solo.... one of those perfect climatic moments in a song, well, for me anyways...

I agree with Radiohead - Exit Music. I've always loved that song.
Tool - Parabola, aslong as you listen to Parabol and Parabola as one long song. And this whenever it was performed live: It peaks in the middle before dragged right back down just to explode again towards the end. This is not the best example but its off Jeff Buckleys DVD therefore easily available on Youtube. The perfect example is on the Mystery White Boy abum. Mojo Pin on MWB is immaculate. |

It's always his vocals that get me in the climax of that song. His live versions of it were just so much better than the studio recordings and to be honest thats the case for most of his material. Seriously, check out the Mystery White Boy version (well, check out the record full stop because its great) because it's even better.

Yes. I wish I had been a bit more creative for this site but its what I tend to use for most accounts.
And good I dont know how much Buckley you have heard other than Grace but theres 2 or 3 tracks on MWB that show his harder, rockier material. Hopefully the direction he would have ended up taking. Plus the medley of Hallelujah with I Know Its Over by The Smiths is pretty good. |
