Inside, nothing cooler than playing in front of 100 people in a humid room over 80 degrees.

so true, i've seen bands on summer festivals as well as in small venues, and it has been always more fun in a venue than at a festival.

the few times i've guest sang/screamed, we played in basements, and there is nothing more intense than 30 dudes packed into a small space all jamming.

so yeah, small venues fucking rule.

small indoor venue is best -- with a good PA-
better intimacy with audience -- large shows can be intimidating
if you're not used to it. Our biggest show was when
we opened for Godsmack at coral sky amp in WPB and I was quite terrified
... couldn't hear myself in stage monitors either - we sucked that show for sure

I've only performed in my garage with my brother during a walk benefit in our garage we got over 50 people inside.
