Due to a shared taste in music, Jackhammer and I thought it might be fun to do a collaborative mix thread. Here's how it works:

Jackhammer and I will each propose an idea for a "Seven Songs To _____________ To" compilation.
Anyone who wants to participate votes on which comp idea they'd like us to do.
After three days, voting is closed and the two of us each create a comp based around the decided upon theme for your listening pleasure.
Comment.
Repeat.

Just to get the ball rolling we have already agreed on a concept for the first pair of comps, "Seven Songs To Get In a Barroom Brawl To". Listen, enjoy, leave comments, and we'll soon be moving on to the voting for the next pair of comps. Here's the first pair:

Big props for the inclusion of Motorhead's 'The Hammer' on Janszoon's mix and you can't beat some Atari Teenage Riot. I was very nearly going to put some Mad Capsule Markets in my comp who are like a noisier version of ATR.

Members can suggest themes for the comps, even if it's bizzare i'm sure we can find some music for any occasion!
