Is that really true? I mean you'd still wake up if you heard a loud noise even in REM sleep.

Yep. But there's a difference between an external stimuli (such as an alarm clock) waking you rather than the ability to "hear" anything when you're still in REM sleep.

Incidentally REM sleep is the point closest to consciousness so you'd actually wake easier than you would at any other time during the night.

I've also heard REM is the name of some band but I don't know if that's true.

Excellent. I look forward to hearing yours Janszoon.

My mix starts quite ferociously and gently winds down into twisted aural landscapes

Looking forward to this one...even though I haven't had a chance to listen to the last one yet.

Looking forward is perhaps not the correct phrase as I don't expect it to be played much! I was rather hoping that the dopeheads would turn out the lights, spark a fat one and embrace it all! Paranoia FTW lol.

That's funny, I went kind of a similar route with mine.

I'm on it! Should be interesting .
Got some of those, but that doesn't matter. If it suits the mood, then job well done .

Heh. I thought you might. You would've had even more, but Gorguts just barely missed making the cut for me.
