Hmm, isn't it late there?

When does the poll close?

No, it's already tomorrow afternoon there. They can get in the vote while the Europeans and Americans are asleep. It's all a part of my plan. Bwhahahaha!

Because it was my nomination, why else?

Oh I don't know. Sometime in the middle of the day tomorrow when me and Jackhammer decide to call it.

Seven Songs To Have a Nightmare To

This idea (thanks Demonoid!) was the winner by a landslide. So here you have it, a mix from each of us based around the nightmare theme. Hope you enjoy them and let us know what you think!

Janszoon's "Seven Songs To Have a Nightmare To"
Since my nightmares range from intense and terrifying to brooding and disturbing, I went in a couple different directions with these songs in terms of mood. Tracklist:

1. Sleepytime Gorilla Museum—"Sleep Is Wrong"
2. Pig Destroyer—"Towering Flesh"
3. Daisy Chainsaw—"Lovely Ugly Brutal World"
4. Sunn 0)))—"0))) Bow 1"
5. Godflesh—"Almost Heaven" (Helldub)
6. Skinny Puppy—"Reclamation"
7. Swans—"Killing for Company"

Jackhammer's "Seven Songs To Have a Nightmare To"
Jackhammer asked me to mention that the glitches on track 5 are part of the song and not a problem with the file or anything. Tracklist:

1. Lightning Bolt—"30,000 Monkies" (Peel Session)
2. Bong Ra—"Slaytronic"
3. Martin Grech—"Dali"
4. Hawkwind—"Utopia"
5. Dead Machines—"Futures Pt.4"
6. Throbbing Gristle—"Maggot Death" (Studio Version)
7. Celtic Frost—"Danse Macabre"

Isn't it a bit ironic that your temporal lobe (and summarily auditory sense) is inactive during REM sleep?
