I vote Mclusky. This is the only band I can think of that I checked out not because of a specific recommendation from someone here but simply because so many different people on MB kept talking about them.

Yeah its hard not to like McLusky. And I would argue that almost anyone who doesn't lacks a sense of humor and or testcles... fair enough if you actually do lack testicles, I won't hold it against you... in fact I exclusively prefer women who do not have testicles.

Don't think i've ever seen anyone slag off Big Star.

Mind you , it must have been about a year before anyone replied to my thread about them.
