You really should. If you don't know much about Ornette Coleman, his two albums The Shape of Jazz to Come and Free Jazz are essential. Free Jazz isn't as scary as it sounds.

Awesome, I'll check them out. And even though I don't grasp free jazz at this point I'm definitely not deterred by it I remember when you and Frown made me listen to John Coltrane's Sun Ship, that was a fun experience
