I discovered Robert Schumann's Violin Concerto in D minor on the radio while I was driving home from work today. I've always been somewhat hesitant in exploring Romantic classical music due to its often bombastic/over-the-top/flowery manner (which I now realize is pretty silly), but I was thrilled to discover how amazing Schumann is. I plan on looking into more of his work in the future (already downloaded his cello concerto).
