Thumbs up New Music

Hey guys,

Not sure how open people are these days to new undiscovered music, but i tend to enjoy finding the hidden gems on the net and in dingy bars around town.

Theres this band we have locally, and by locally i mean South Africa, called Interval, just about to hit the scene. I heard of them through a friend of mine working at a record company in Johannesburg, He's a producer of some of the top talent in the local scene, George Vardas, so his opinions definitely count to me. These guys are a 3 piece Alternative rock band with great song writing and melody. The front man is the singer and song writer from past local band Grannysmith, they had hits such as, "Starlight", "Getting Stronger" and my favourite, "Circles". The sound of the band and songs are totally different now.

Interval are about to launch a new single called "Great Escape" which is the title track of their new EP.

Check them out! I guarantee you wont be disappointed, and if you are, I'll try some other bands you might like

Youtube/twitter - @thisisinterval

Feel free to drop me a post back if you like.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

"It's incidental, but she only has time for essential dreams
so she's still waiting, because it seems like there's nothing in the heart of the beast
I hear her saying: What kind of life is this? It's in suspension
What kind of life is this, nothing happens. "
