Cliche as it may be, this is still one of my favorite Clash tracks. That bass gets me every time, not to mention those "Ooo-oo-oohs" and the "I LIVE BY THE RIVER!"

Man, I have so many memories that go with this song. Damn you Clash, making me all nostalgic.

Actually I think their s/t album is really great and I usually skip Sex & Candy when I listen to it (overplayed). Their other albums are very hit or miss, with their last one of four being their 2nd best.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

Liars - "Scissor" (Sisterworld, 2013)

Sisterworld is my favorite Liars album, of the 4 I have heard.

Not my favorite track by them, but a great band that doesn't get nearly enough recognition around these parts. I'd probably put them in my top ten artists of the 00s.

This is why events unnerve me,
They find it all, a different story,
Notice whom for wheels are turning,
Turn again and turn towards this time,
All she ask's the strength to hold me,
Then again the same old story,
Word will travel, oh so quickly,
Travel first and lean towards this time.

Oh, I'll break them down, no mercy shown,
Heaven knows, it's got to be this time,
Watching her, these things she said,
The times she cried,
Too frail to wake this time.

Oh, I'll break them down, no mercy shown,
Heaven knows, it's got to be this time,
Avenues all lined with trees,
Picture me and then you start watching,
Watching forever, forever,
Watching love grow, forever,
Letting me know, forever.

I'm lost on a road
Don't know which way to go
I'm losing my mind
Losing control of the wheel
And I'm swerving
On and off the road

I'm lost on a road
But survival is a must
Don't know who I can trust
I'm livin in a rush
I don't understand the fuss
My brain is bout to bust
