Strong Enough, Sheryl Crow

Gutted weren't the most original death metal band and I can see why they never became more known, but it's still a shame. They are as crushing a DM band as I've ever heard. They don't play particularly complex music as far as DM goes, they just go for straight aggression and heaviness. Just how I like my 90's DM. This could still blow 99% of modern DM bands out of the water just for sheer visceral brutality.



For some reason I see that as more of a Dying Fetus album.

This band just does it for me.

Avante-garde hippie chick. I'm digging a lot.

Like a poppier, all-girl version of Motorhead. They've been around since forever and I love, love, love them. Ever wished the Runaways recorded a punked-up metal album? Then have I got a band for you.

Better songwriting & production with this album over the previous.

The only Lita Ford song I'd ever heard before today was "Kiss Me Deadly", and I don't remember being particularly impressed, but I am finding myself entertained by her debut album. Shame about her trying to look "eighties hot" though.
